The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Uschok got free with Demetrius Herlitizius in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demetrius Herlitizius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Felber in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind VfL Trier Revolutionäre's goalkeeper Demetrius Herlitizius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Richard Uschok came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the BV Grün-Weiß Holt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Uschok couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the BV Grün-Weiß Holt defense, Friedbert Lauterbach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theobald Weinberg. The BV Grün-Weiß Holt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theobald Weinberg should have stopped the shot. Fatih Seidel kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 45 minutes, Montgomery Layher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VfL Trier Revolutionäre and the BV Grün-Weiß Holt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Theobald Weinberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in VfL Trier Revolutionäre's zone, Richard Uschok stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrius Herlitizius came out of the goal and Richard Uschok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Friedbert Lauterbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Theobald Weinberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Richard Uschok cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Demetrius Herlitizius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Richard Uschok came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the BV Grün-Weiß Holt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Uschok couldn't finish the play. Pascal Schulze kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Herbert Felber managed to get in a good position for a shot. BV Grün-Weiß Holt's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Felber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demetrius Herlitizius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes BV Grün-Weiß Holt got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Repplinger.
