A collision led to Köchingen getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Marcus Grüner hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the game, Günter Baumann landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 19 minutes into the game, Marcus Grauslich was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hurensöhne FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köchingen the free kick. Fritz Burkart took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Knut Schwab. Hurensöhne FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Knut Schwab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicco Wesseler in the 26th minute. Paul Amelung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederik Kaindl in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Frederik Kaindl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Amelung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Richard Kalvelage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köchingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Kalvelage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hurensöhne FC's Knut Schwab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklaus Schwarzfischer in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Frederik Kaindl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paul Amelung was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zlatan Weilbächer's late challenge caught a Köchingen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zlatan Weilbächer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hurensöhne FC's Zlatan Weilbächer got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Kalvelage in the 45th minute of play forced Hurensöhne FC's goalkeeper Knut Schwab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Köchingen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hurensöhne FC were winning 0-1.

51 minutes into the match, Köchingen's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Kaindl came free, but Paul Amelung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Richard Kalvelage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederik Kaindl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Amelung having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Köchingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklaus Schwarzfischer to maneuver through the defense. Arian Renners short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Paul Amelung to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Frederik Kaindl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paul Amelung made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Arian Renner sent off a good shot on target. Hurensöhne FC's Knut Schwab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Kalvelage in the 78th minute of play. When Zlatan Weilbächer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Zlatan Weilbächer hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Richard Kalvelage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Kalvelage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hurensöhne FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
