Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ephraim Schrenk got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes VFL OSNABRÜCK got a freekick which was hit by Luca Locherer. After a defensive mix-up in Haigerer Hodentreter's zone, Achim Storz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Baumert came out of the goal and Achim Storz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Haigerer Hodentreter getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Eberhard Boxberger hit a great ball. Olaf Baumert came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by VFL OSNABRÜCK's Achim Storz. But to his dismay, Achim Storz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Olaf Baumert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flo Hägele in the 17th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, VFL OSNABRÜCK's goal looked a bit too open when Ephraim Schrenk came free, but Zvonimir Stolz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corvinus Bremer kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Rainer Herbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Zvonimir Stolz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Haigerer Hodentreter defense, Achim Storz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Baumert. The Haigerer Hodentreter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Baumert should have stopped the shot. Rainer Herbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zvonimir Stolz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, VFL OSNABRÜCK's Feddo Jaser got a free kick in the 36th minute. Zvonimir Stolz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Röwekamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Rainer Herbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvonimir Stolz having to interfere. In the 44th minute Achim Storz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Baumert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Achim Storz to make the kick off. Zvonimir Stolz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ephraim Schrenk in the 57th minute of the match. VFL OSNABRÜCK's Zvonimir Stolz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainer Herbert in the 58th minute of play. Olaf Baumert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achim Storz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of VFL OSNABRÜCK booed when Haigerer Hodentreter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wofgang Dyckmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Willi Walhöfer in the 65th minute really tested Olaf Baumert's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Rainer Herbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haigerer Hodentreter's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainer Herbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zvonimir Stolz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ephraim Schrenk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zvonimir Stolz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Heiko Holzhäuser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haigerer Hodentreter and the VFL OSNABRÜCK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Haigerer Hodentreter getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Heiko Holzhäuser hit a great ball. Corvinus Bremer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Baumert having to interfere. Zvonimir Stolz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainer Herbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Haigerer Hodentreter booed when VFL OSNABRÜCK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Locherer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Ephraim Schrenk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haigerer Hodentreter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ephraim Schrenk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Haigerer Hodentreter's Olaf Baumert got control of the ball when Flo Hägele tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zvonimir Stolz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ephraim Schrenk in the 91st minute of the match. Olaf Baumert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flo Hägele in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Luca Locherer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olaf Baumert. The goal made the score 0-3.
