The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lukas Horlacher got free with Leon Schwantes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rainder Dick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Leon Schwantes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Miguel Schollenberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Schollenberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noel Wolf charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Wolf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bentkrögen getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Noel Wolf hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Jakob Waske's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raik Meisl was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute Miguel Schollenberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Schwantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rainder Dick struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Leon Schwantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bentkrögen. A collision led to Meerhöfe getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jan Schaffrath hit a great ball. Leon Schwantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Schollenberger in the 45th minute of the match. Miguel Schollenberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Rainder Dick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Meerhöfe's zone, Miguel Schollenberger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Schwantes came out of the goal and Miguel Schollenberger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Bentkrögen's Rainder Dick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Schwantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Schwantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainder Dick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Schwantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Schollenberger in the 71st minute of the match. Rainder Dick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Schwantes having to interfere. The nice shot from Robin Arbogast in the 80thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Raik Meisl had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Robin Arbogast in the 80th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Raik Meisl kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Jakob Waske received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Raik Meisl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
