Spectators: 7646 (Terracing: 5736, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Frederik Schaumann made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the game, Justin Wolter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BSG Gera Süd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haigerer Hodentreter the free kick. In the 6th minute, Justin Wolter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ephraim Schrenk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Schwarz having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Haigerer Hodentreter's goalkeeper Olaf Baumert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederik Schaumann. In the 12th minute, Kasimir Lingemann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olaf Baumert. The goal made the score 1-0. Haigerer Hodentreter were furious when Stephan Röwekamp was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 14 minutes into the game, one of Haigerer Hodentreter:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, BSG Gera Süd's Frederik Schaumann got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Olaf Baumert. Lars Wiechers kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 minutes, Eberhard Boxberger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haigerer Hodentreter and the BSG Gera Süd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eberhard Boxberger hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Frederik Schaumann had several of the Haigerer Hodentreter's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Olaf Baumert as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 36 in the game by Frederik Schaumann from a close distance when the talented Olaf Baumert managed to make a qualified save. Haigerer Hodentreter's players were relieved. Kasimir Lingemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Olaf Baumert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kasimir Lingemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederik Schaumann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Olaf Baumert skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kasimir Lingemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Baumert having to interfere. Olaf Baumert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederik Schaumann's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Olaf Baumert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasimir Lingemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. BSG Gera Süd's Conny Schwarz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save BSG Gera Süd from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasimir Lingemann in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olaf Baumert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Frederik Schaumann notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Haigerer Hodentreter's Olaf Baumert. Olaf Baumert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Allan Cerezo's late challenge caught a Haigerer Hodentreter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. Haigerer Hodentreter's Olaf Baumert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasimir Lingemann in the 75th minute of play. Heiko Holzhäuser kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Kasimir Lingemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Olaf Baumert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Frederik Schaumann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Olaf Baumert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the match, Haigerer Hodentreter's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Schaumann came free, but Olaf Baumert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf Baumert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasimir Lingemann in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Kasimir Lingemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Baumert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the BSG Gera Süd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
