Reelpool TM's Hemmo Peddinghaus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Reelpool TM from getting a goal against them. Hemmo Peddinghaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walther Alt in the 9th minute of the match. Egon Friedl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erich Rau in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Reelpool TM's Bill Kersten got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Westermarscherloog FC booed when Reelpool TM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoltan Appeltrath didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marc Scharfscheer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erich Rau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Westermarscherloog FC's Franz Zapf seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Franz Zapf the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Westermarscherloog FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Franz Zapf had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Willibald Brausch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egon Friedl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Hemmo Peddinghaus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Scharfscheer, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walther Alt in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hemmo Peddinghaus saved Reelpool TM from getting behind. If Marc Scharfscheer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Marc Scharfscheer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 38 in the game by Marc Scharfscheer from a close distance when the talented Hemmo Peddinghaus managed to make a qualified save. Reelpool TM's players were relieved. 41 minutes into the match, Marc Scharfscheer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hemmo Peddinghaus, 1-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Marc Scharfscheer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westermarscherloog FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Scharfscheer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Marc Scharfscheer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westermarscherloog FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Scharfscheer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hemmo Peddinghaus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marc Scharfscheer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hemmo Peddinghaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walther Alt in the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Marc Scharfscheer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westermarscherloog FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Scharfscheer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hemmo Peddinghaus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th match minute, Westermarscherloog FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Scharfscheer to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Walther Alt made a precise shot to the right of Hemmo Peddinghaus. Reelpool TM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Westermarscherloog FC's Egon Friedl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Westermarscherloog FC from getting a goal against them. Walther Alt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hemmo Peddinghaus having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Reelpool TM's zone, Walther Alt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hemmo Peddinghaus came out of the goal and Walther Alt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Marc Scharfscheer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Joseph Kehl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westermarscherloog FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Kehl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hemmo Peddinghaus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Marc Scharfscheer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westermarscherloog FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. There was no doubt that Westermarscherloog FC were the better team. Westermarscherloog FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
