Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) If Ingmar Nettig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Woldag had several of the TSV Moorenweis's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gero Rausch as he didn't even see the shot coming. 11 minutes into the match, TSV Moorenweis's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Woldag came free, but Gero Rausch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Ingo Hovermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Franiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, TSV Moorenweis's Gero Rausch got control of the ball when Ingmar Nettig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axel Woldag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Zufallstreffer were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after TSV Moorenweis's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joachim Butzer took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joachim Butzer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gero Rausch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 32nd minute, Ingmar Nettig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland Joosten's late challenge caught a FC Zufallstreffer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Joosten helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, TSV Moorenweis's Roland Joosten got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Ingo Hovermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Moorenweis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingo Hovermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrik Franiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Della in the 37th minute of the match. TSV Moorenweis's Gero Rausch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save TSV Moorenweis from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Axel Woldag made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Woldag in the 51st minute of play forced TSV Moorenweis's goalkeeper Gero Rausch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gero Rausch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Nettig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TSV Moorenweis's Ingo Hovermann got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrik Franiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingo Hovermann in the 56th minute of play. TSV Moorenweis's Gero Rausch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Nettig in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Ingo Hovermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Axel Woldag ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gero Rausch was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 71st minute Ingmar Nettig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gero Rausch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match, Matthew Della got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henrik Franiel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Matthew Dellas short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Henrik Franiel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 75 played minutes TSV Moorenweis got a freekick which was hit by Jochen Kunter. Ingmar Nettig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gero Rausch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrik Franiel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ingo Hovermann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 80 minute of play.
