When Erwin Wagner fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buckenhof FSV's protests and gave Erwin Wagner a yellow card for diving instead. 21 minutes into the match, Buckenhof FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Prott came free, but Efraim Funke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Krapp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The wind increased when Lauro Müllerwiebus made the kick off in the second half. Buckenhof FSV's Efraim Funke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Prott in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosmo Hinke got free with Erk Berger in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caperücitënn's Elmer Aist got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Lauro Müllerwiebus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dirk Prott came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Caperücitënn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dirk Prott couldn't finish the play. If Lauro Müllerwiebus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lauro Müllerwiebus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caperücitënn's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Müllerwiebus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efraim Funke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lauro Müllerwiebus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Efraim Funke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lauro Müllerwiebus came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Caperücitënn fans jumped to their feet. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buckenhof FSV's goalkeeper Efraim Funke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Caperücitënn's Erk Berger got control of the ball when Cosmo Hinke tried to sneak it across the goal line.
