Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benedikt Heim kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, one of BSV07Rintheim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BSV07Rintheim. Günter Dröst stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torger Fromme's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Niederwenigern! 20 minutes into the game, Berthold Francz lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Günter Dröst. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Günter Dröst successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 25 minutes into the match, Niederwenigern's goal looked a bit too open when Benedikt Heim came free, but Günter Dröst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karsten Popoola might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Linus Bork. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karsten Popoola ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Benedikt Heim notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Niederwenigern's Günter Dröst. Günter Dröst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Berthold Fockenbrock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Gottschling hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Niederwenigern getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Leon Klein hit a great ball. Niederwenigern's Günter Dröst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Niederwenigern from getting a goal against them. Leon Klein charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Klein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BSV07Rintheim booed when Niederwenigern was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Klein didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berthold Fockenbrock was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Benedikt Heim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günter Dröst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Karsten Popoola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niederwenigern's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BSV07Rintheim the free kick. In the 60th minute, Benedikt Heim made a precise shot to the right of Günter Dröst. Niederwenigern's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. If Berthold Fockenbrock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torger Fromme kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Leon Klein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Niederwenigern's goal looked a bit too open when Benedikt Heim came free, but Günter Dröst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Benedikt Heim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Günter Dröst was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Benedikt Heim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Günter Dröst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berthold Francz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Benedikt Heim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günter Dröst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, BSV07Rintheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Michael Spranger to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Berthold Francz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Günter Dröst was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Günter Dröst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikolai Paulssen went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Schnur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Günter Dröst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Niederwenigern:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BSV07Rintheim:s goal. After 98 minutes of play, BSV07Rintheim's Karl Gilles made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Günter Dröst was left in no man's land by his defense there!
