A sloppy throw-in by Kristian Willem Blockmann in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hartefeld FSV's Mike Kastener. Stefan Hundt kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Niederwenigern got a freekick which was hit by Sean Schlebusch. Hartefeld FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niederwenigern the free kick. Michael Brehmer succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-5. 90 minutes into the match, Niederwenigern's goal looked a bit too open when Jockel Bublitz came free, but Günter Dröst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Günter Dröst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Brehmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Niederwenigern supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hartefeld FSV's performance. The match ended with a win for Hartefeld FSV.
