Chausseesiedlung's Odilo Merker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Schache in the 23rd minute of play. The FC Trabzon fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when FC Trabzon's Reiner Poschmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Odilo Merker came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Trabzon's Reiner Poschmann. But to his dismay, Reiner Poschmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Baldo Fürkötter was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Chausseesiedlung getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rico Dahlinger hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chausseesiedlung's zone, Baldo Fürkötter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odilo Merker came out of the goal and Baldo Fürkötter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Reiner Poschmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Odilo Merker was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Baldo Fürkötter made a precise shot to the right of Odilo Merker. Chausseesiedlung's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Trabzon fully deserved thier win.
