After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ole Neuling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polonia Sinzing's supporters rose to their feet, but Ole Neuling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Ipek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingo Bomke in the 7th minute of play forced Polonia Sinzing's goalkeeper Arne Pingel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Pingel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Kleiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Polonia Sinzing's Arne Pingel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Börnert in the 59th minute of play. Arne Pingel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uno Börnert, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Ole Neuling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polonia Sinzing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ole Neuling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uno Börnert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arne Pingel came out and tried to block the shot, but Uno Börnert slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 90th minute. Polonia Sinzing's Arne Pingel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Börnert in the 94th minute of play. Wichlinghauserhöfe were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
