The throw-in from Dennis Salzweger in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Faru CTA's Dieter Ludwig. Barry Gerwen kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolfgang Hölderlin in the 7th minute of play forced Faru CTA's goalkeeper Karl Eberts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Evrim Kratz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wolfram Zellier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Manfred Hertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olaf Höfer might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wolfram Zellier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olaf Höfer ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Hertz in the 29th minute of play forced Faru CTA's goalkeeper Karl Eberts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lengerich 23's goalkeeper Wolfram Zellier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolfgang Hölderlin in the 39th minute of play forced Faru CTA's goalkeeper Karl Eberts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jurij Ziehm fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faru CTA's protests and gave Jurij Ziehm a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Faru CTA's Jurij Ziehm got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfred Hertz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl Eberts came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lengerich 23's Manfred Hertz. But to his dismay, Manfred Hertz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 60 minutes into the match, FC Lengerich 23's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Höfer came free, but Wolfram Zellier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Hertz came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karl Eberts could save by the left post. After 66 minutes, Olaf Höfer made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Lengerich 23's Wolfram Zellier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dieter Ludwig made a great header on Faru CTA's corner, it was just that FC Lengerich 23's Wolfram Zellier managed to reach the ball for a save. Jurij Ziehm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barry Gerwen charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 85th minute, Wolfgang Hölderlin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl Eberts. The goal made the score 4-3. After 90 minutes, Dieter Ludwig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faru CTA and the FC Lengerich 23 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dieter Ludwig kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Manfred Hertz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Karl Eberts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lengerich 23. With a little luck, Faru CTA's Karl Eberts got control of the ball when Manfred Hertz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faru CTA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Lengerich 23 for a fine match.
