Achmed Gref dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC Hawaii's Horst Dürr proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hawaii from getting a goal against them. If Keanu Wiggelinghof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Grafing Stadt's Achmed Gref played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolaus Cayrol in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolaus Cayrol in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Grafing Stadt's goalkeeper Achmed Gref to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achmed Gref made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolaus Cayrol in the 33rd minute of play.
