Spectators: 7552 (Terracing: 5780, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) TSG Leiferde's Velten Wenzel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Focke Borchert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TSG Leiferde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Faru CTA the free kick. In the 4th minute, Focke Borchert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Olaf Höfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 6 minutes into the match, TSG Leiferde's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Höfer came free, but Mirko Damm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velten Wenzel in the 15th minute of play forced Faru CTA's goalkeeper Karl Eberts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dieter Ludwig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Damm having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Joseph Kellermann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl Eberts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 31 played minutes Faru CTA got a freekick which was hit by Heiko Ebel. After 34 minutes, Falko Dieckmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faru CTA and the TSG Leiferde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Falko Dieckmann hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Velten Wenzel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faru CTA's Karl Eberts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velten Wenzel in the 39th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olaf Höfer made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Faru CTA got a freekick which was hit by Barry Gerwen. In the 59th minute, Joseph Kellermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TSG Leiferde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 64th minute Velten Wenzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Eberts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Heiko Ebel suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 91 minutes, Joseph Kellermann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TSG Leiferde and the Faru CTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Faru CTA made a substitution. Wolf Reim replaced Heiko Ebel. After 93 played minutes TSG Leiferde got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Kellermann. Olaf Höfer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. TSG Leiferde's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
