Spectators: 6784 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Petrus Riess kicked off to start the match. Robert Rapp kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of SV Rittsteig booed when 1.FC Mehlesdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Möllmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrus Riess in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thilo Borgelt saved 1.FC Mehlesdorf from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in SV Rittsteig's zone, Gunther Polder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörn Maier came out of the goal and Gunther Polder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 minutes, Jes Mannheim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Rittsteig and the 1.FC Mehlesdorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of 1.FC Mehlesdorf booed when SV Rittsteig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jes Mannheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Robert Möllmann got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 28th minute Petrus Riess shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thilo Borgelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to 1.FC Mehlesdorf getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Robert Möllmann hit a great ball. Gunther Polder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Jörn Maier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 35 minutes of play, 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Gunther Polder made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörn Maier was left in no man's land by his defense there! 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Guillaume Ritschel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jörn Maier but with some difficulty. Alban Geyer made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Robert Rapp however managed to control. Robert Möllmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Gunther Polder made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gunther Polder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gunther Polder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gunther Polder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Maier having to interfere. SV Rittsteig's Jörn Maier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunther Polder in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sonny Bernard during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sonny Bernard hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Gunther Polder notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SV Rittsteig's Jörn Maier. Jörn Maier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Petrus Riess got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute of the match Holder Rennicke sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thilo Borgelt skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Petrus Riess managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Rittsteig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petrus Riess was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SV Rittsteig's Petrus Riess got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes, 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Istvan Heimhold shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jörn Maier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1.FC Mehlesdorf reached it. Gunther Polder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Maier having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Per Gulden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Maier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
