The supporters of SV Rittsteig booed when FC Hawaii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Sieger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Hawaii's Klara Hofmeier got a free kick in the 4th minute. 18 minutes into the match, FC Hawaii's goalkeeper Horst Dürr had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petrus Riess. Holder Rennicke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horst Dürr. FC Hawaii's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Werner Korff hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petrus Riess in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horst Dürr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Werner Korff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Hawaii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, SV Rittsteig's Jes Mannheim got a free kick in the 35th minute. Jes Mannheim kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Jörn Maier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Werner Korff in the 43rd minute of the match. Jörn Maier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikolaus Cayrol went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Werner Korff made the kick off in the second half. When Klara Hofmeier fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Hawaii's protests and gave Klara Hofmeier a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes FC Hawaii got a freekick which was hit by Klara Hofmeier. In the 61st minute Petrus Riess shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horst Dürr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, FC Hawaii's Nikolaus Cayrol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jörn Maier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Arne Heinzmann hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Nikolaus Cayrol kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Werner Korff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jörn Maier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Werner Korff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horst Dürr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrus Riess in the 88th minute of play. Nikolaus Cayrol scored 0-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jörn Maier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Hawaii's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
