Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manfred Hertz made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Jelden in the 3rd minute of play forced TSG Leiferde's goalkeeper Mirko Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wolfram Zellier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velten Wenzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Velten Wenzel in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wolfram Zellier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 6 minutes FC Lengerich 23's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Velten Wenzel who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Velten Wenzel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wolfram Zellier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 8 played minutes FC Lengerich 23 got a freekick which was hit by Wolfgang Hölderlin. In the 17th minute Bastian Jelden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Velten Wenzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute Velten Wenzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolfram Zellier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to TSG Leiferde getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ralph Cavic hit a great ball. In the last second Mirko Damm throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wolfgang Hölderlin in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ferdinand Bechmann made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dietbald Anzengruber. 41 minutes into the match, Manfred Hertz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mirko Damm, 1-0. Mirko Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolfgang Hölderlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Velten Wenzel was the one to do the kick off. When Manfred Hertz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lengerich 23's protests and gave Manfred Hertz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Manfred Hertz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the game, Velten Wenzel lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Wolfram Zellier. 57 minutes into the match, TSG Leiferde's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Jelden came free, but Mirko Damm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Manfred Hertz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mirko Damm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mirko Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Jelden in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Ivar Schmidt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wolfram Zellier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Lengerich 23 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Manfred Hertz hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Velten Wenzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolfram Zellier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wolfram Zellier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Velten Wenzel in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Joseph Kellermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSG Leiferde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Kellermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mirko Damm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfred Hertz's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute of the match Ralph Cavic shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wolfram Zellier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Lengerich 23's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
