The referee showed Alban Geyer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Klemens Lüdemann made a precise shot to the right of Jörn Maier. SV Rittsteig's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Artige frei Denker's Kilian Assmann got a free kick in the 18th minute. Vicco Lenke kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, SV Rittsteig's goal looked a bit too open when Kilian Assmann came free, but Jörn Maier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörn Maier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klemens Lüdemann's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. If Aaron Merkmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klemens Lüdemann to make the kick off. Kilian Assmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niklas Trener kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Petrus Riess could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Adrian Niklaus made a huge save. Petrus Riess might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Niklaus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petrus Riess ran back to his position shaking his head. Arne Heinzmann hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Jörn Maier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klemens Lüdemann in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, SV Rittsteig's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Merkmann came free, but Jörn Maier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Artige frei Denker's Kilian Assmann made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörn Maier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aaron Merkmann took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörn Maier. Jörn Maier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the SV Rittsteig players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Artige frei Denker.
