Ubbo Marschner struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Donny Schui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germania Haithabu. Arjen Brockmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Mank in the 22nd minute of play forced Germania Haithabu's goalkeeper Siegmund Buhrmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Germania Haithabu's Ubbo Marschner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donny Schui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Marvin Hartmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hocheck FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germania Haithabu the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Hocheck FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Hartmann to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Germania Haithabu defense, Ludger Scherpp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siegmund Buhrmann. The Germania Haithabu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siegmund Buhrmann should have stopped the shot. Siegmund Buhrmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludger Scherpp in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Lars Mank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegmund Buhrmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubbo Marschner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donny Schui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubbo Marschner, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Siegmund Buhrmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludger Scherpp in the 57th minute. After 59th play minutes Ubbo Marschner shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Donny Schui and just under the crossbar into goal. Ludger Scherpp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siegmund Buhrmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludger Scherpp in the 65th minute. After 67 minutes of play, Germania Haithabu's Ubbo Marschner made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donny Schui was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 71 played minutes Hocheck FC got a freekick which was hit by Anton Huhn. Bernd Holz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Donny Schui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Lars Mank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegmund Buhrmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes, Ricky Gross mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germania Haithabu and the Hocheck FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Bernd Holz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Germania Haithabu's Siegmund Buhrmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Germania Haithabu from getting a goal against them. After 91 played minutes Hocheck FC got a freekick which was hit by Anton Huhn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubbo Marschner in the 94th minute of play forced Hocheck FC's goalkeeper Donny Schui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
