The referee ignored Schleusingen's protests and gave Philippe Beilmann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Philippe Beilmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joachim Velandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes, Attila Zsinka made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Schleusingen's Balko Deisler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Olayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Balko Deisler made a huge save. Großbraunshain FC's Nathan Combret got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Attila Zsinka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Balko Deisler made a huge save. The supporters of Schleusingen booed when Großbraunshain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurij Buchen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Olayo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Joachim Velandia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Balko Deisler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Balko Deisler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Schleusingen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Francisco Olayo scored to the left of an out of position Balko Deisler, making the score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Olayo in the 41st minute of play forced Schleusingen's goalkeeper Balko Deisler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes, Moritz Ani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schleusingen and the Großbraunshain FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Schleusingen getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Moritz Ani hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Schleusingen's zone, Attila Zsinka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balko Deisler came out of the goal and Attila Zsinka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The audience was convinced that Attila Zsinka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Balko Deisler was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 55 minutes into the game, Großbraunshain FC's Francisco Olayo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Balko Deisler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Schleusingen's Balko Deisler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attila Zsinka in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Joachim Velandia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Großbraunshain FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Attila Zsinka sped through Schleusingen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Balko Deisler. Schleusingen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Attila Zsinka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. In the 91st minute of the match Attila Zsinka sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Balko Deisler skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that Großbraunshain FC were the better team. Großbraunshain FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
