Ramon Guzikowski made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Antti Brosig sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halldor Krippels in the 8th minute of play forced Blut Royale Cologne's goalkeeper Ramon Guzikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Jung got free with Ramon Guzikowski in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roland Winitzki's late challenge caught a Polonia Marlow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Winitzki helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Blut Royale Cologne's Roland Winitzki got a free kick in the 10th minute. Fynn Nork took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jochen Ockert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kai Quack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jochen Ockert struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Fynn Nork didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blut Royale Cologne. Kai Quack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kai Quack scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fynn Nork, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Axel Buhisan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polonia Marlow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blut Royale Cologne the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Polonia Marlow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Buhisan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Kai Quack managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blut Royale Cologne's supporters rose to their feet, but Kai Quack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fynn Nork breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pascal Hocker hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Fynn Nork showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochen Ockert, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Kai Quack struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Fynn Nork didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blut Royale Cologne. The supporters of Polonia Marlow booed when Blut Royale Cologne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Rössel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kai Quack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Jörg Heussen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blut Royale Cologne and the Polonia Marlow players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Michael Jung made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Blut Royale Cologne getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Roland Winitzki hit a great ball. Ramon Guzikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halldor Krippels in the 53rd minute of play. Jochen Ockert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fynn Nork tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Guzikowski came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Polonia Marlow's Michael Jung. But to his dismay, Michael Jung quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ramon Guzikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Jung in the 65th minute of play. If Antti Brosig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fynn Nork showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jochen Ockert in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Jochen Ockert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Polonia Marlow's Michael Jung nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Guzikowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Ramon Guzikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antti Brosig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Fynn Nork successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jörg Heussen hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Michael Jung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland Winitzki hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Blut Royale Cologne players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Polonia Marlow.
