In the 5th match minute, Polonia Marlow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Jung to maneuver through the defense. If Wim Roye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halldor Krippels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asrin Barenz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Baumminator's zone, Halldor Krippels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asrin Barenz came out of the goal and Halldor Krippels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baumminator's Asrin Barenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Jung in the 13th minute of play. Michael Jung hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Philipp Wieland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Axel Buhisan fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polonia Marlow's protests and gave Axel Buhisan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Polonia Marlow's Axel Buhisan got a free kick in the 27th minute. Wim Roye scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fynn Nork, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fynn Nork stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wim Roye's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Baumminator made a substitution. Rudi Carlos replaced Karsten Krickel. Asrin Barenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Jung in the 53rd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Baumminator:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Polonia Marlow:s goal. Asrin Barenz had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Michael Jung's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Baumminator getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Wim Roye hit a great ball. With a little luck, Polonia Marlow's Fynn Nork got control of the ball when Wim Roye tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Christoph Gläßel notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Polonia Marlow's Fynn Nork. Fynn Nork was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Polonia Marlow's Fynn Nork played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Bauer in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the Polonia Marlow defense, Wim Roye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fynn Nork. The Polonia Marlow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fynn Nork should have stopped the shot. Gilbert Finman scored 0-5 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fynn Nork, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Polonia Marlow's Fynn Nork got control of the ball when Wim Roye tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Wim Roye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Polonia Marlow getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Hartmut Rauhaus hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Wim Roye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Jung in the 100th minute of play forced Baumminator's goalkeeper Asrin Barenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baumminator's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
