Mugurel Postelnicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halldor Krippels in the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Hartwin Bergmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fynn Nork saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Bayern München's Roland Schiavi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Silvain Hoefer in the 20 minute of the game. When Hergen Schwartau came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Bayern München fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hergen Schwartau couldn't finish the play. FC Bayern München's Roland Schiavi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Silvain Hoefer in the 25 minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Polonia Marlow's goalkeeper Fynn Nork had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Zbikowski. 33 minutes into the game, Silvain Hoefer threw the ball into play from the sideline. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Michael Jung made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Roland Schiavi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 minutes, Michael Jung mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polonia Marlow and the FC Bayern München players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Polonia Marlow's Michael Jung got a free kick in the 56th minute. Silvain Hoefer made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Michael Jung. After 59 minutes, Grischa Horsch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polonia Marlow and the FC Bayern München players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvain Hoefer got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Michael Jung. Hergen Schwartau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Buhisan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Waldemar Zbikowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fynn Nork was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Waldemar Zbikowski put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fynn Nork. FC Bayern München's Mugurel Postelnicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bayern München from getting a goal against them. Michael Jung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mugurel Postelnicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Polonia Marlow's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
