Ignaz Kuhl's late challenge caught a Borussia Dortmund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignaz Kuhl helped the player get up and apologised. Ignaz Kuhl kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match 曲风平 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathis Rippert skillfully saved the ball. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Borussia Dortmund. 83 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when André Zeiss came free, but Hubert Päßler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Slavoj Ukrainets took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Mathis Rippert to make any attempt to save it. During the 89th minute of the match Tobias Dworakowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tobias Dworakowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 92 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when James Kienböck came free, but Hubert Päßler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borussia Dortmund's supporters rose to their feet, but Slavoj Ukrainets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathis Rippert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Borussia Dortmund fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Borussia Dortmund were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
