Thanks to some nice moves Adolfo Peixoto could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Eike Krentzel however easily saved by the left post. Eike Krentzel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Peixoto in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Lochbrücke FC's goalkeeper Eike Krentzel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Peixoto. After 13 minutes of play, HBH's Stefan Kösling made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eike Krentzel was left in no man's land by his defense there! HBH's Remigiusz Wojtyna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günter Glemser in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Arens in the 24th minute of play forced HBH's goalkeeper Remigiusz Wojtyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Henk Arens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Wojtyna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, HBH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Samuel Schultz in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lochbrücke FC's Manfred Spaniol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günter Glemser in the 32nd minute of play forced HBH's goalkeeper Remigiusz Wojtyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Manfred Spaniol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Didier Garden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, HBH's Hanno Hug got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dino Nießen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see HBH's Jorck Behlau in action when he in the 59th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 64 minutes into the match, HBH's Stefan Kösling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eike Krentzel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Lochbrücke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Kösling came free, but Eike Krentzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Kösling scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eike Krentzel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute Stefan Kösling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eike Krentzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Kösling in the 90th minute of play forced Lochbrücke FC's goalkeeper Eike Krentzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Henk Arens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lochbrücke FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henk Arens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigiusz Wojtyna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lochbrücke FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for HBH.
