Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wissersheim's Axel Giese started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in Döbelner SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Marc Kranz, was totally fooled by Wissersheim's Kevin Hilker, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 8th minute, Nicolai Wissmann made a precise shot to the right of Marc Kranz. Döbelner SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Kevin Hilker fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wissersheim's protests and gave Kevin Hilker a yellow card for diving instead. Kevin Hilker kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Arthur Haubold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johann Dreher, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Arthur Haubold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Hoyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Uri Wollenschläger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marc Kranz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marc Kranz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolai Wissmann got free with Marc Kranz in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kevin Hilker kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Wissersheim's Axel Giese sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Kranz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Axel Giese came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Wissersheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Giese couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute Axel Giese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Kranz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Haubold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johann Dreher, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Johann Dreher made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Wissersheim's zone, Johann Dreher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Haubold came out of the goal and Johann Dreher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolai Wissmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mosche Kaehlitz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Torbjörn Hoyer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arthur Haubold was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 84th minute, Torbjörn Hoyer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johann Dreher came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arthur Haubold could save by the left post. Johann Dreher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Döbelner SC's Johann Dreher got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
