Jens Stübner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Schöpf in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Tytus booed when Karlsruher SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Schöpf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Ohrem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 36thth minute of the game Josef Trachsel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tytus's Jens Stübner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pat Indenklef during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tytus booed when Karlsruher SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spike Häberle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 minutes of play Tytus's Pat Indenklef was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 62 played minutes Tytus got a freekick which was hit by Pat Indenklef. If Conni Tetzner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akira Gänßle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Eugen Gelb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremy Scheer charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
