Wüllenrath's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Oliver FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Joseph Resch hit a great ball. Markus Hofmeier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Tugay Rasi made a huge save. Davor Ammann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tugay Rasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerhard Martin Fehr made a kick off. Gerhard Martin Fehr kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tugay Rasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davor Ammann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Davor Ammann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tugay Rasi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Oliver FC defense, Jannick Jösting kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tugay Rasi. The Oliver FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tugay Rasi should have stopped the shot. After 90 played minutes Oliver FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl Petri. In the 94th minute, Hagen Schmitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wüllenrath's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
