After a defensive mix-up in Selm Bork's zone, Hernan Ohrem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Ohmer came out of the goal and Hernan Ohrem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 played minutes Selm Bork got a freekick which was hit by Marco Kohler. Fritz Ohmer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christof Engelmann. After 10 played minutes Selm Bork got a freekick which was hit by Marco Kohler. Akira Gänßle came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fritz Ohmer could save by the left post. A collision led to Tytus getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jeremy Scheer hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Hernan Ohrem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tytus's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Ohrem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fritz Ohmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Pat Indenklef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Akira Gänßle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marco Kohler fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selm Bork's protests and gave Marco Kohler a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tytus booed when Selm Bork was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Kohler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Selm Bork's Marco Kohler got a free kick in the 36th minute. A collision led to Tytus getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mischa Maskos hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Selm Bork's goalkeeper Fritz Ohmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Akira Gänßle. In the 42nd minute, Tom Seitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Akira Gänßle got free with Fritz Ohmer in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Gregor Barnett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens Stübner. Tytus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregor Barnett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry Steffen made a kick off. Jeremy Scheer kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Harry Steffen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mischa Maskos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 61st minute, when Selm Bork's Hartwig Onaran after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Jens Stübner in Tytus's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. After a rather tough play, Selm Bork's Herrmann Anfahrt got a free kick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Tytus's Hernan Ohrem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fritz Ohmer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 77th minute, Benni Praßke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens Stübner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Steffen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Harry Steffen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregor Barnett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Stübner having to interfere.
