André Demel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Beppo Tieße. A collision led to Bayern FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Herbert Leopold hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Henning Marx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Branimir Kulekov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Braunsfeld FSV's André Demel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th play minute Julius Madjlessi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised André Demel. 1-0. Julius Madjlessis short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got André Demel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 28 minutes, Julius Madjlessi made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Braunsfeld FSV's André Demel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Braunsfeld FSV booed when Bayern FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karsten Kasik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes, Braunsfeld FSV's Kurt Haslbeck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ellis Presch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Braunsfeld FSV reached it. 4-0 became the score in the 35th minute when Branimir Kulekov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Kurt Haslbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beppo Tieße took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Demel. Braunsfeld FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julius Madjlessi got free with André Demel in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Branimir Kulekov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. André Demel came out and tried to block the shot, but Branimir Kulekov slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Bayern FC's Branimir Kulekov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Demel. André Demel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henning Marx made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Branimir Kulekov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. André Demel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 54 minutes of play Braunsfeld FSV's Rio Krotz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 55 played minutes Braunsfeld FSV got a freekick which was hit by Rio Krotz. André Demel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Eger's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Kurt Haslbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Bayern FC's Julius Madjlessi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Demel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. A collision led to Braunsfeld FSV getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Henning Marx hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Branimir Kulekov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Demel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Braunsfeld FSV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Beppo Tieße was slow to take the kick. During this time Bayern FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Beppo Tieße almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Braunsfeld FSV's André Demel did a great save. A collision led to Braunsfeld FSV getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kurt Haslbeck hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match Beppo Tieße sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Demel skillfully saved the ball. Branimir Kulekov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Demel having to interfere. A collision led to Bayern FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Karim Ockert hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bayern FC's zone, Kurt Haslbeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ellis Presch came out of the goal and Kurt Haslbeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Demel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Eger in the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Branimir Kulekov in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Demel saved Braunsfeld FSV from getting behind. André Demel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Branimir Kulekov, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Braunsfeld FSV defense, Julius Madjlessi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Demel. The Braunsfeld FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Demel should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bayern FC had won after a very even match.
