After a rather tough play, Högl's Boris Hinz got a free kick in the 17th minute. Högl's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Gerke Zepek scored to the left of an out of position Wilhelm Schüßler, making the score, 2-1. Boris Hinz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothar Seybold in the 29th minute of play forced RWD2's goalkeeper Leopold Hartdegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RWD2's Leopold Hartdegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Ulrich in the 30th minute of play. Wilhelm Schüßler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerke Zepek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilhelm Schüßler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meral Kapitulski in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Sebastian Dullinger made a precise shot to the right of Wilhelm Schüßler. Högl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, RWD2's Roland Rombach got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egon Ulrich stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to RWD2 getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Roland Rombach hit a great ball. If Egon Ulrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60thth minute of the game Gerke Zepek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Högl's Wilhelm Schüßler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Högl's Wilhelm Schüßler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evrim Fazio in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Högl's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Rombach came free, but Wilhelm Schüßler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Gerke Zepek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Schüßler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Schüßler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Dullinger in the 66th minute of play. Roman Gohmert shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Lothar Seybold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boris Hinz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopold Hartdegen having to interfere. When Egon Ulrich came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Högl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egon Ulrich couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute of the match Roman Gohmert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilhelm Schüßler skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evrim Fazio in the 82nd minute of play forced Högl's goalkeeper Wilhelm Schüßler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Gohmert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilhelm Schüßler. Högl's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roland Rombach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilhelm Schüßler came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by RWD2's Sebastian Dullinger. But to his dismay, Sebastian Dullinger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Wilhelm Schüßler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerke Zepek, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Wilhelm Schüßler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerke Zepek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Högl's goal looked a bit too open when Gerke Zepek came free, but Wilhelm Schüßler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilhelm Schüßler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerke Zepek, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
