Spectators: 7448 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peter Kürten started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, FC Ameisenigel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kornelius Schmorell to maneuver through the defense. If Kornelius Schmorell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Eller charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Eller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gittelde FSV getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fabian Eller hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Orthaus in the 11th minute of play forced Gittelde FSV's goalkeeper Gennaro Wiesemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Christopher Ellinghaus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Kirchberger. FC Ameisenigel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christopher Ellinghaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Siegmund Reitenauer shot from long distance in the 20th minute, but Gennaro Wiesemann was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After a rather tough play, FC Ameisenigel's Peer Schmelzer got a free kick in the 27th minute. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Kornelius Schmorell put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gennaro Wiesemann. Gennaro Wiesemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Orthaus in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Gittelde FSV's goalkeeper Gennaro Wiesemann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kornelius Schmorell. After 40 minutes of play, FC Ameisenigel's Kornelius Schmorell made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gennaro Wiesemann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kornelius Schmorell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Gennaro Wiesemann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerold Kalleder during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gittelde FSV's Gerold Kalleder got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Kornelius Schmorell made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Ameisenigel's Kornelius Schmorell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gennaro Wiesemann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabian Eller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Thomas Kirchberger made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, FC Ameisenigel's goalkeeper Thomas Kirchberger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christopher Ellinghaus. Christopher Ellinghaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Kirchberger having to make a save. Gennaro Wiesemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kornelius Schmorell in the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gittelde FSV defense, Kornelius Schmorell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gennaro Wiesemann. The Gittelde FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gennaro Wiesemann should have stopped the shot. Gennaro Wiesemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kornelius Schmorell in the 70th minute of the match. Thomas Kirchberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Kürten, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gennaro Wiesemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kornelius Schmorell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gittelde FSV's Gennaro Wiesemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kornelius Schmorell in the 83rd minute of play. Gennaro Wiesemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kornelius Schmorell in the 87th minute of play. Gennaro Wiesemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Wildemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Gittelde FSV got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Eller. After 92 minutes, Mladen Lange mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ameisenigel and the Gittelde FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Ameisenigel's Mladen Lange got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
