Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rudolf Gerulat made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hellmut Karrenbauer in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joachim Brandborn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, Iserlohner Heide FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reto Moratschke came free, but Joachim Brandborn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Guenther made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johann Ebbenga in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Tiedemann in the 10th minute of play forced VFB Stuttgart's goalkeeper Tobias Guenther to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reto Moratschke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Joachim Brandborn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Guenther was a little too slow when Rudolf Gerulat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Johann Ebbenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johann Ebbenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tobias Guenther made a huge save. Rudolf Gerulat might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Guenther. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolf Gerulat ran back to his position shaking his head. Hugo Bothe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Joachim Brandborn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Guenther came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Iserlohner Heide FC's Johann Ebbenga. But to his dismay, Johann Ebbenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rudolf Gerulat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tobias Guenther tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hellmut Karrenbauer made the kick off in the second half. Reto Moratschke's late challenge caught a Iserlohner Heide FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reto Moratschke helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to VFB Stuttgart getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Reto Moratschke hit a great ball. Tobias Guenther made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Gerulat in the 53rd minute of play. Tobias Guenther showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johann Ebbenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Iserlohner Heide FC's Joachim Brandborn got control of the ball when Hellmut Karrenbauer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rudolf Gerulat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iserlohner Heide FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Gerulat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Guenther breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Guenther took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johann Ebbenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quint Werner during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Iserlohner Heide FC got a freekick which was hit by Quint Werner. Hugo Bothe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joachim Brandborn having to make a save. Hugo Bothe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Joachim Brandborn made a huge save. If Herrmann Rocker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Guenther showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Gerulat in the 80th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, VFB Stuttgart's goal looked a bit too open when Johann Ebbenga came free, but Tobias Guenther reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hellmut Karrenbauer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Joachim Brandborn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hellmut Karrenbauer got free with Joachim Brandborn in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rudolf Tiedemann kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Iserlohner Heide FC had played much better football throughout.
