Lorenz Bobzien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robert Musta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Irabien in the 31st minute. Gregor Gorny might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenz Bobzien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregor Gorny ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Helko Süss kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Helko Süss charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helko Süss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 61 minutes into the game, Mark Nievelstein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lorenz Bobzien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phoenix Humme in the 66th minute of play forced Steinwinkel's goalkeeper Lorenz Bobzien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Steinwinkel got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Thielsch. Sascha Andre Mühleck shot from long distance in the 70th minute, but Lorenz Bobzien was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 71st minute, Gregor Gorny left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bwood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Lorenz Bobzien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregor Gorny, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. FC Bwood's Leander Dickhoff quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eitel Laing, made in the 80th minute of the game. The supporters of FC Bwood booed when Steinwinkel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Thielsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Steinwinkel defense, Mark Nievelstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenz Bobzien. The Steinwinkel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenz Bobzien should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Steinwinkel's zone, Mark Nievelstein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenz Bobzien came out of the goal and Mark Nievelstein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd match minute, Steinwinkel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernando Avellana to maneuver through the defense. FC Bwood's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
