Liam Czerwinskys short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Matthew Hildebrand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 23 played minutes Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05 got a freekick which was hit by Jürgen Bahlke. Stanislaw Bügen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erich Wolf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Liam Czerwinsky came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liam Czerwinsky couldn't finish the play. When Luiz Paulo Saraiva fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Donautal's protests and gave Luiz Paulo Saraiva a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Paulo Saraiva hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Matthew Hildebrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Czerwinsky in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Blau–Weiß Pinneberg 05 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
