Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rasmus Boxmann made the kick off which started today's match. A wasted opportunity for FC Wesseling. 15 minutes into the match, FC Wesseling's Lawrence Germann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hasso Rauh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Benteler FC defense, Till Stöhr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hasso Rauh. The Benteler FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hasso Rauh should have stopped the shot. Josip Bogs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hasso Rauh having to make a save. After some careless play in the FC Wesseling defense, Klemens Abel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Santarém. The FC Wesseling fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Santarém should have stopped the shot. Hasso Rauh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Müntefering, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. FC Wesseling were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Benteler FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dominik Szolkowy took the corner. FC Wesseling's Josip Bogs was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hasso Rauh in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Benteler FC's goalkeeper Hasso Rauh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Benteler FC defense, Till Stöhr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hasso Rauh. The Benteler FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hasso Rauh should have stopped the shot. Lawrence Germann took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hasso Rauh. Hasso Rauh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Josip Bogs took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hasso Rauh. Afonso Santarém made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Lendemans in the 42nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Lendemans couldn't finish the play. FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Lendemans in the 47th minute of play. The Benteler FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Wesseling were winning 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans Müntefering was the one to do the kick off. Bertil Suhr kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Benteler FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Till Stöhr scored to the left of an out of position Hasso Rauh, making the score, 2-5. In the 57th minute, Benteler FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hans Müntefering fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Till Stöhr in the 61st minute of play forced Benteler FC's goalkeeper Hasso Rauh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Benteler FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bertil Suhr hit a great ball. Hans Müntefering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Till Stöhr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, FC Wesseling's Till Stöhr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hasso Rauh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lawrence Germann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Böcker charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Böcker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Till Stöhr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josip Bogs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Hans Müntefering could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Hasso Rauh however easily saved by the left post. In the 91st minute, FC Wesseling's Josip Bogs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hasso Rauh. Hasso Rauh yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. Till Stöhr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasso Rauh having to interfere. The Benteler FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Wesseling were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
