Roger Heermann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Battista Radunski went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score was 2-1 after a penalty in the 37th minute, where Sainscheid:s Mika Lameck tricked OFK Bratstvo:s Ayman Klopp with a difficult ball by the left post. Waldo Schumann made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gregor Assmann however managed to control. 41 minutes into the game, Battista Radunski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OFK Bratstvo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sainscheid the free kick. After 41 played minutes OFK Bratstvo got a freekick which was hit by Battista Radunski.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregor Assmann to make the kick off. When Edmond Zwerger came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Sainscheid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmond Zwerger couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Battista Radunski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ayman Klopp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mads Marissen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonid Stein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Roger Heermann made a huge save. 80 minutes into the game, OFK Bratstvo's Leonid Stein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Heermann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Sören Brockmüller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayman Klopp having to interfere. If Mads Marissen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although Sainscheid had been in control for most of the match, OFK Bratstvo still came away with the win.
