After 29 played minutes, Leuderodee's Sascha Holzmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Malik Henning came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leuderodee reached it. In the 35th minute, Heribert Kreuter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Heribert Kreuter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Kupsal's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Schlünz came free, but Malik Henning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Sascha Holzmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Olaf von Witzendorff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolf Krause skillfully saved the ball.

Heribert Kreuter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolf Krause having to make a save. 53 minutes into the game, Egon zum Felde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leuderodee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kupsal the free kick. In the 55th minute, Dustin Kasik made a precise shot to the right of Rolf Krause. Leuderodee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Dustin Kasik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rolf Krause tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf von Witzendorff was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fabian Schlünz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Malik Henning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kupsal's zone, Ignaz Rack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malik Henning came out of the goal and Ignaz Rack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leuderodee's Rolf Krause played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heribert Kreuter in the 79th minute of play. If Dustin Kasik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After recieving a nice pass, Kupsal's Olaf von Witzendorff tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Leuderodee getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Richard Grytz hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Leuderodee's goal looked a bit too open when Heribert Kreuter came free, but Rolf Krause reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Egon zum Felde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leuderodee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon zum Felde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leuderodee's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
