Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernst Holthuis started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franz Harder in the 7th minute of play forced Ottrau's goalkeeper Morgan Hensel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Bergsohn during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Bergsohn hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Morgan Hensel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reinhold Zukrigl's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Torbjörn Claaßen hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Donnerschwee's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Holthuis came free, but Marco Jacksch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Ottrau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmo Schichholz to maneuver through the defense. Donnerschwee's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Torbjörn Claaßen in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on Donnerschwee's corner Torbjörn Claaßen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Morgan Hensel quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ernst Holthuis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ottrau's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernst Holthuis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Jacksch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulko Pressel might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Jacksch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulko Pressel ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 30 minutes, Fulko Pressel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ottrau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulko Pressel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torbjörn Claaßen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Morgan Hensel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Donnerschwee booed when Ottrau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Höhne didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Franz Harder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Donnerschwee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ottrau the free kick. A collision led to Donnerschwee getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Franz Harder hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Ottrau's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhold Zukrigl came free, but Morgan Hensel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Donnerschwee's Torbjörn Claaßen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Morgan Hensel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Ottrau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Donnerschwee were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torbjörn Claaßen made a kick off. Martin Bergsohn hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Torbjörn Claaßen could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Morgan Hensel however easily saved by the left post. Morgan Hensel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reinhold Zukrigl's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Ottrau's Morgan Hensel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Ottrau from getting a goal against them. Fulko Pressel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marco Jacksch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Fulko Pressel notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Donnerschwee's Marco Jacksch. Marco Jacksch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Ottrau's Morgan Hensel got control of the ball when Franz Harder tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Donnerschwee's Morgan Hensel threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Franz Harder, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 84th minute, Reinhold Zukrigl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Morgan Hensel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 88 minutes into the game, Donnerschwee's Franz Harder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Morgan Hensel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After 93 minutes of play, Ottrau's Fulko Pressel made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Jacksch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Morgan Hensel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 3-5. Donnerschwee's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
