Ulrich Traband received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Johann Bachmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horst Söbbe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Brazol, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Klein Amerika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiner Heine to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Huppert charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fabian Huppert was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Kersch FC's Fabian Huppert got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Rodrigo Dressel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horst Söbbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulrich Traband fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johann Bachmann having to interfere.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulrich Traband stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Kersch FC's Falk Schmermbeck got a free kick in the 75th minute. Horst Söbbe came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Klein Amerika's Rodrigo Dressel. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Dressel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Dressel in the 82nd minute of play forced Kersch FC's goalkeeper Horst Söbbe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horst Söbbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battista Schicker in the 84th minute of play. Rodrigo Dressel took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horst Söbbe. Horst Söbbe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 92 minutes into the game, Helmut von Kalben was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kersch FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klein Amerika the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Kersch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helmut von Kalben to maneuver through the defense. Horst Söbbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Brazol in the 94th minute of play. Klein Amerika walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
