When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christopher Horsmann made a kick off. Niels Lienemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Clemens Lütke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Ruhloh FSV got a freekick which was hit by Frank Hofmann. Thomas Haraszti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mark Saak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Horsmann in the 60th minute of the match. Emil Klütz's late challenge caught a Holzbein Kiel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Klütz helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Ruhloh FSV got a freekick which was hit by Emil Klütz. Mark Saak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mark Saak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Horsmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Thomas Haraszti in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Clemens Lütke, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Marco Fockenbrock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Holzbein Kiel's Arvid Knüwe was substituted for Thomas Haraszti. 89 minutes into the game, Christopher Horsmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Mark Saak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Holzbein Kiel's Caspar Finkel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Clemens Lütke but with some difficulty. Many of Holzbein Kiel's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Holzbein Kiel may have spent more time on the ball, but Ruhloh FSV were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
