Christopher Horsmann hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. FC Black Sea 61's Bernd Neuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Klütz in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Arne Vollander managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Black Sea 61's supporters rose to their feet, but Arne Vollander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemens Lütke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haiko Kriebel struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Clemens Lütke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Black Sea 61. In the 10th minute, Jürgen Kronenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, FC Black Sea 61's Jürgen Kronenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemens Lütke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jürgen Kronenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Ruhloh FSV's Frank Hofmann got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Jürgen Kronenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemens Lütke was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Keven Vorwerk hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Jürgen Kronenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemens Lütke. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christopher Horsmann to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Christopher Horsmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Zöller during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jon Zöller hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Ruhloh FSV's Christopher Horsmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernd Neuss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Bernd Neuss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Horsmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christian Stober had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute Christopher Horsmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Neuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Jürgen Kronenberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruhloh FSV's Clemens Lütke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Black Sea 61 may have spent more time on the ball, but Ruhloh FSV were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
