Spectators: 8482 (Terracing: 6363, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Berne Mcroberts started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Ludwig Müntefering hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Markus Paul Stedefeldt in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by THB Herrenalb's Curt Nickel. Ignatius Tilmann took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Witzky. Ralf Witzky dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Arko Brill kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Berne Mcroberts managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.Fc Özkan's supporters rose to their feet, but Berne Mcroberts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willi Wolters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, THB Herrenalb's Heinz Schultheiss got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ralf Witzky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moritz Riemer, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moritz Riemer in the 28th minute of play forced 1.Fc Özkan's goalkeeper Ralf Witzky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Witzky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moritz Riemer, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1.Fc Özkan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raik Wistuba was slow to take the kick. During this time THB Herrenalb's players had a chance to rest. Raik Wistuba made a great header on THB Herrenalb's corner, it was just that 1.Fc Özkan's Ralf Witzky managed to reach the ball for a save. Moritz Riemer took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Witzky. Ralf Witzky dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The THB Herrenalb fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when THB Herrenalb's Moritz Riemer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 44 minutes into the match, 1.Fc Özkan's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Müntefering came free, but Ralf Witzky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes, Tom Hubig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1.Fc Özkan and the THB Herrenalb players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1.Fc Özkan's goalkeeper Ralf Witzky, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

52 minutes into the match, 1.Fc Özkan's goalkeeper Ralf Witzky had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignatius Tilmann. A nice corner shot did that Raik Wistuba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ralf Witzky quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in 1.Fc Özkan's zone, Moritz Riemer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Witzky came out of the goal and Moritz Riemer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ralf Witzky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moritz Riemer in the 58th minute of play. 1.Fc Özkan's Berne Mcroberts got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. THB Herrenalb's Lutz Holtzmann was substituted for Moritz Riemer. If Arne Stern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Stefan Debkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willi Wolters was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Lutz Holtzmann made a precise shot to the right of Ralf Witzky. 1.Fc Özkan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 77 minutes into the match, 1.Fc Özkan's goal looked a bit too open when Lutz Holtzmann came free, but Ralf Witzky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. THB Herrenalb's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raik Wistuba in the 80th minute. The corner led to THB Herrenalb's Sandro Högger getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sandro Högger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ralf Witzky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Arne Stern ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralf Witzky was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6.
