Xabat Acedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Birk Bodin made a huge save. Arno Trenkel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cherry Evans's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Birk Bodin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Halbich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Valerón hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match.
