Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xabat Acedo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leslie Mendel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xabat Acedo went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 6thth minute of the game Stefan Halbich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BAYER's Leslie Mendel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stefan Halbich scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leslie Mendel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Xabat Acedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Night Cats's supporters rose to their feet, but Xabat Acedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leslie Mendel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leslie Mendel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Halbich, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 played minutes BAYER got a freekick which was hit by Robin Kramer. Stefan Halbich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. BAYER's Leslie Mendel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabat Acedo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Theo Pleschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leslie Mendel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jupp Bast managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAYER's supporters rose to their feet, but Jupp Bast was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arno Trenkel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefan Halbich took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leslie Mendel. Leslie Mendel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 31 minutes into the game, Christian Berkowitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Leslie Mendel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A nice corner shot did that Eskil Fleckenstein got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arno Trenkel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matthias Vogelsang charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthias Vogelsang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matthias Vogelsang hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Leslie Mendel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Halbich in the 40th minute of the match. Leslie Mendel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Halbich in the 43rd minute of play. Moritz Harms kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Ulises Pagomari fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 46th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eskil Fleckenstein made a kick off. Stefan Halbich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Leslie Mendel made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jupp Bast in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arno Trenkel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Christian Berkowitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leslie Mendel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 62 minutes into the game, Xabat Acedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leslie Mendel. Xabat Acedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Stefan Halbich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Leslie Mendel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BAYER were furious when Moritz Harms was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of BAYER:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Night Cats:s goal. The supporters of SC Night Cats booed when BAYER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieter Borchert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xabat Acedo in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leslie Mendel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. BAYER's Leslie Mendel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Halbich in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, SC Night Cats's Xabat Acedo made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leslie Mendel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute Christian Berkowitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leslie Mendel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BAYER's zone, Christian Berkowitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leslie Mendel came out of the goal and Christian Berkowitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Halbich in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leslie Mendel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The SC Night Cats fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when SC Night Cats's Stefan Halbich looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 92 played minutes Stefan Halbich rounded BAYER's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-11. When the match was over SC Night Cats could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BAYER throughout the match.
