After the first half Kelcany were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jiří Soumar to make the kick off. Jaroslav Maier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimír Nádeníček went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 60th minute Jiří Soumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Maier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Soumar in the 63rd minute of play forced Real Madrid C.F.'s goalkeeper Jaroslav Maier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kelcany's Vladimír Nádeníček was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
