Oliver Žádník made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Dzurko in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 played minutes FC ČIMICE got a freekick which was hit by Julius Vavroušek. The audience was convinced that Adolf Malec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliver Žádník was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Petr Sloup kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Josef Dzurko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Starlight Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Dzurko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC ČIMICE booed when FC Starlight Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. František Grulich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Adolf Malec made the kick off in the second half. Oliver Žádník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from František Grulich in the 57th minute of the match.
