The FK Karolinka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josef Tichavský should have stopped the shot. But to his dismay, Martin Rytíř quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petr Drdla in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viorel Bercea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josef Tichavský showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günter Pich in the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Colo - Colo's Viorel Bercea got control of the ball when Ondřej Kejík tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Martin Rytíř ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josef Tichavský was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Martin Rytíř sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítězslav Netopil hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute of the match Ondřej Šlechta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viorel Bercea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petr Drdla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Günter Pich took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josef Tichavský. Josef Tichavský dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Martin Rytíř put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Josef Tichavský. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petr Švandrlík during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Colo - Colo's Petr Švandrlík got a free kick in the 61st minute. Günter Pich received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Josef Tichavský came out and tried to block the shot, but Günter Pich slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 64th minute. Martin Rytíř came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Josef Tichavský could save by the left post. Josef Tichavský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günter Pich, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With his leg Josef Tichavský managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when FC Colo - Colo's Martin Rytíř fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd minute Günter Pich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Tichavský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Martin Rytíř ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josef Tichavský was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. 76 minutes into the match, FK Karolinka's goalkeeper Josef Tichavský had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Rytíř. After a defensive mix-up in FK Karolinka's zone, Martin Rytíř stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Tichavský came out of the goal and Martin Rytíř tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Günter Pich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josef Tichavský was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Martin Rytíř struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Josef Tichavský didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Colo - Colo.
