When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rupert Charette sped through Ligerz FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rene Buchmann. Rene Buchmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Charette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Marfurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isai Kolb's late challenge caught a Liverpool FC Est 1892's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isai Kolb helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Liverpool FC Est 1892 booed when Ligerz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isai Kolb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Held in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Buchmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rene Buchmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Held in the 25th minute of play. Isai Kolb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fidelio Laube tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC Est 1892's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Marfurt came free, but Fidelio Laube reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rupert Charette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rene Buchmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Isai Kolb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rupert Charette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Leo Held got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dennis Marfurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ligerz FC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Ligerz FC's Dennis Marfurt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Dennis Marfurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC Est 1892's Irenäus Roth got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fidelio Laube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Marfurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Dennis Marfurt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ligerz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Marfurt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidelio Laube breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Marfurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bert Fugère hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Dennis Marfurt struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Fidelio Laube didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ligerz FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Leonard Winiker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ligerz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Winiker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidelio Laube breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ligerz FC's Dennis Marfurt in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liverpool FC Est 1892's goalie prevented a goal. After 77 played minutes Liverpool FC Est 1892 got a freekick which was hit by Bert Fugère. In the 78th minute of the match Volker Meyer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidelio Laube skillfully saved the ball. If Dennis Marfurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidelio Laube stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Winiker's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Marfurt in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidelio Laube saved Liverpool FC Est 1892 from getting behind. If Dennis Marfurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Ligerz FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
